Journeyman Lineman Wanted

If you are into salmon fishing, stream fishing, hiking, camping, boating, skiing, or snowmobiles, you might want to consider Alaska Electric Light and Power, a privately held utility company in Juneau, Alaska.  We have an opening for two FULL-TIME PERMANENT LINEMAN as well as several SEASONAL LINEMAN positions.  Applicants must have:

• Current fitness card.

• Medical, first aid and CPR cards.

• Ability to work on a construction line crew.

• CDL License and be capable of being insured.

These positions are governed by the terms of agreement between AEL&P and the I.B.E.W.  Rate of pay will be in accordance with the current agreement.  Permanent employees are offered an excellent benefit package that includes paid leave and holiday pay.  Overtime is available.
