Week 1, 4/19/08 – 4/25/08

 Activities 

• Mobilize more heavy equipment to Snettisham to help with snow removal.
  
  
• Continue avalanche control work.
  
  
• 4/22/08 Meeting with engineers, transmission line contractors, local contractors to evaluate repair options.  After considering many alternatives, the consensus was that replacing the towers on their existing foundations was the quickest, least expensive way to restore Snettisham energy to town.
  
  
• 4/25/08 Contractor crews, avalanche control personnel, helicopter pilot arrive at Snettisham.  Helicopter is stationed there.
  
  
• 4/25/08 Barge with tower parts and helicopter fuel arrives at Snettisham.
