AEL&P will be testing the Salmon Creek emergency evacuation sirens

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2nd • 9am

These periodic tests are part of the Salmon Creek Dam Emergency Action Plan to ensure an appropriate response should there ever be an actual emergency.

The National Weather Service in Juneau will test the Emergency Alert System (EAS) interrupting broadcast media in the Juneau Area.

Thank you for your understanding as we ensure adequate functioning of the Salmon Creek Sirens.

This is only a test. Do not evacuate.
